Line Up For Taste Tent Announced
Taste Inverclyde will be providing the food and drink offering at the Gourock Highland Games to showcase the best of Inverclyde and Scotland this Sunday 13 May 2018.
The 30m x 12m marquee will see the creation of a street food market and will also provide live music, a virtual reality showcase, board games whilst providing indoor and outdoor seating. Taste Inverclyde has now revealed the full line-up of options for the spectators at the event.
Street vendors Jax Snax (Greenock) and Streetlicious by DJ’s (Port Glasgow) will be offering their delicious menus that have become so loved locally. Superb farm produce will also be on hand from Argyll based Duntarrin and Shellfield farms for the meat lovers.
West Coast Eats (Argyll) will be offering their vegetarian and vegan street food with Nutcrafter Creamery (Kilmacolm) offering their outstanding plant-based vegan cheese. Kaur Bakers (Renfrewshire) will be showcasing their delicious vegetarian Indian food.
Handmade cakes and coffee will be available from One Cove Road (Gourock) and Three Sisters Bake (Kilmacolm) with social enterprise The Common Grind (Renfrewshire) also offering their specialty coffee’s for spectators.
Local producers Moonbow Bakery (Greenock) will have their range of sweet and savoury treats whilst A Spoonful of Sugar (Greenock) will provide homemade Scottish Tablet. Betty May’s Fudge (Gourock) will be showcasing their homemade fudge
Long-time supporter of the games – Inverness Fudge - will also be offering their wide variety of confectionery.
VR Party Scotland will be on hand as Scotland's only provider of Virtual Reality entertainment which promises to blow people's minds!
The Music stage will welcome various acts throughout the day which will be announced on Thursday 10 May 2018.
Taste Inverclyde was launched in November 2017 by Riverside Inverclyde to promote independent food and drink companies and food tourism throughout the area.

The Taste Tent is open from 12:00 - 18:00 at the Battery Park in Greenock.
