‘I am delighted to be coming to Inverclyde for this special event which I know has been electric in past years as the winners of the various categories of award are announced.

"I have also heard a number of good things in the development of tennis in Inverclyde with more to come and am glad that I am able to be there at this time.’

Chris Jewell for the organisers said:

"It is magical to have Leon speaking at our awards event this year, coming on the back of such a momentous time in winning the Davis Cup and with such first-hand experience and knowledge of UK tennis.

"We are greatly looking forward to the occasion and we would encourage people to be there to hear Leon speak and also to support their own Inverclyde sporting heroes as the winners are announced."
