Aiver Sport Expands Into Ladyburn Business Centre
Following a period of sustained growth and interest in its clothing products, the company is the latest tenant to sign up with regeneration company Riverside Inverclyde (ri), taking 420 square feet at Riverside Business Park.
Aiver Sport has achieved great success by priding its products on delivering for both the horses and their riders needs to achieve the maximum result from a riding experience. Driven by local couple Outi Kylmala and Lesley Koekenbier, the company has been trading in Greenock since 2013 with its e-commerce platform performing well across Scandinavia and UK.
The new premises will enable Aiver Sport to focus on further development of their innovative products, allowing Outi to concentrate on product development and Lesley on business development with the 25+ UK retailers that they are currently trading with.
Lesley, Director at Aiver Sport said:
“We have seen great growth of Aiver Sport over the past few years and we’re delighted to be able to move into a great facility like Ladyburn to enable us to take the next step for our business. We’ve seen growth recently both on-line and at trade shows and the time was right to take this next step. We’d like to thank Riverside Inverclyde for their quick turnaround and making this expansion possible.”
Aiver Sport is the latest in a recent spurt of new tenants for ri, in what has seen a successful start to 2018.
Andrew Bowman, Head of Business Investment at ri said:
“Ri is delighted to welcome Aiver Sport to Ladyburn to add to a growing and eclectic mix of tenants at the business centre. It is always very pleasing to be able to support existing Inverclyde companies with their ambitious growth plans and ri ensured we were flexible to help meet Aiver’s timescales. We wish Outi and Lesley continued success with the company.”
Ri’s Ladyburn Business Centre has been developed to support businesses on a growth trajectory. The building offers variable sized suites with flexible leases and is a perfect stepping stone for businesses looking to take the next step from their starter premises.
Ladyburn Business Centre hosts a wide range of tenants including Aiver Sport, ABC4D, Gryffe Studios, Nicholson McShane Architects, The Wise Group, Mind Mosaic, North Atlantic Minerals, Enterprise Childcare, SKV Group, River Clyde Homes, Miller Surveying and Key Housing. The former Ladyburn School offers 27 traditional offices across two floors. Ladyburn Business Centre is part of the wider Riverside Business Park, which was developed and completed by Riverside Inverclyde in 2013.
With the increased market demand, ri will be turning its attention to filling the remaining three suites at Ladyburn ranging from 355 sq ft to 517 sq ft.
